(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 7일 올해 소규모 사업장  ‘대기오염·악취 방지시설’ 설치지원을 시작한다고  밝혔다. 
 

서구에 따르면, 이 사업은 중소기업을 대상으로 설치비용의 최대 90%, 7.2억 원까지 노후된 방지시설 교체를 지원하는 사업으로 올해도 서구는 예산 42억 6천 6백만 원을 확보해 참여 사업장을 모집한다.

서구는 한정된 재원으로 효율성 있는 환경개선을 위해 대기환경보전법 배출 허용기준 강화에 따라 시설개선이 필요한 사업장, 노후 방지시설 운영사업장, 주요 민원 발생 사업장 중 환경개선에 관심있는 사업장, 공동방지시설 운영사업장 등을 우선적으로 지원한다는 방침이다.
 

서구는 지원 사업장을 대상으로 3년간 사후 관리해 오염물질 배출을 모니터링, 효과를 분석하고 미세먼지 저감대책 수립에도 반영할 계획이다.
 

서구는 오는 23일까지 지원 신청을 받으며 설계의 적정성, 업체 개선 의지 등을 확인하는 서류심사와 현장평가 등을 거쳐 ‘방지시설 보조금 심사단’ 심사를 거쳐 최종 지원 대상을 선정할 예정이다.
