(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구의회가 지난 6일부터 21일까지 16일간의 일정으로 제240회 임시회를 개회하고 2023년도 주요업무계획 보고를 비롯해 조례안 등 상정된 안건을 심의했다고 밝혔다.

계양구의회에 따르면, 이번 임시회에서는 조례 및 규칙 제·개정안 11건, 동의안 1건,  기타 안건 5건 등 총 18건의 안건을 처리할 예정이다.

주요 안건으로는 인천광역시 계양구의회 운영 조례 일부개정조례안(이상호 의원), 인천광역시 계양구의회 의원 공무국외출장 조례 일부개정조례안(정춘지 의회운영위원장), 인천광역시 계양구의회 의원연구단체 구성 및 지원 조례 일부개정조례안(김경식 의원), 인천광역시 계양구의회 지방공무원 공무국외출장 등 규칙 일부개정규칙안(신지수 의원), 인천광역시 계양구 중소기업협동조합 육성 및 지원에 관한 조례안(조덕제 자치도시위원장), 인천광역시 계양구 암환자 가발구입비 지원 조례안(문미혜 기획주민복지위원장) 등이 있다.

또, 계양구의회는 지난 6일 제240회 임시회 본회의에서  ‘계양~강화 고속도로 풍무나들목 설치’ 및 ‘서울지하철 9호선, 대장·홍대선~박촌역 연장’에 대한 촉구 결의안을 전의원 만장일치로 채택했다.

 ‘계양~강화 고속도로 풍무나들목 설치 촉구안’은 지난 21년 6월 타당성 평가조사에서 통과했던 원안대로 계양과 강화 양방향으로 진출입이 가능한 풍무나들목 설치와‘서울지하철 9호선, 대장·홍대선~박촌역 연장 촉구안’은 서울 지하철 9호선과 대장·홍대선 철도 2개 노선을 박촌역까지 연결하는 사업이 추진될 수 있도록 인천광역시 대도시권 광역교통 기본계획 반영 및 제5차 국가 철도망 구축 계획에 반영할 것을 촉구하는 내용이다.

특히, 박촌역 주변은 현재 계양동 일대 사업 추진 중인 대규모 공동주택 건설로 4만여 명이 증가할 것으로 예상되며, 계양신도시 테크노밸리사업을 추진하는 지역으로 교통 인프라와 연계로 시너지효과를 극대화하여, 지역주민 철도 이용 편의성과 수혜 권역 확대 등을 감안하면 반드시 필요한 사안이다.

조양희 의장은 “오늘 채택된 두 개의 결의안이 반영되면 그동안 고질적인 교통난 및 불균형한 지역 개발로 불편을 겪은 구민들에 대한 보상이 될 것이다”고 말했다.

한편, 이날 채택된 결의안은 국토교통부, 한국도로공사, 인천시 등 관계 기관에 전달할 예정이다.
