(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천해양경찰서가 6일부터 3월 17일까지 246기 신임 해경 교육생 24명이 약 6주간 현장 관서 실습 교육을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

인천해경에 따르면, 246기 신임 해경 교육생은 전문성을 바탕으로 현장에서 완벽한 대응을 위해 중국어, 정보통신, 헬기정비 등 8개의 직별을 가지고 현장에 투입된다.

 
이번 해경 교육생 24명은 해양경찰교육원에서 2022년 9월 입교하여 20주에 걸친 이론교육 수업을 마치고 현장부서인 인천해양경찰서 파출소와 서해5도특별경비단 경비함정 등 각 부서에 배치되어 선배 경찰관과 함께 근무하며 현장 상황대응 역량 및 실무능력을 강화한다.

도기범 인천해경서장은 “법과 원칙에 따라 당당히 직무를 수행해 주길 바란다”며, “초심을 잃지 않고 늘 배우며 언제나 맡은바 책임을 다하는 바다의 수호자가 되어달라”고 당부했다.
