(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 6일 여성가족부의 사업지침이 확정 되는대로 3월 중(군·구별 상이) 2023년 위기청소년 특별지원 사업 대상자를 모집할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 비행과 일탈 예방이 필요한 청소년, 학교 밖 청소년, 보호자가 없거나 실질적 보호를 받지 못하는 만9세부터 만24세까지의 청소년을 대상으로 기초생계비·숙식·건강검진 및 치료비용·학업·교육비용·훈련비·법률상담 및 소송비용 등을 지원한다.

해당 사업은 타 제도 및 법에 의해 동일한 항목의 지원을 받지 못하는 청소년을 적극 발굴·지원함으로 복지 사각지대의 학생을 최소화하는데 그 목적이 있다.

생계급여(중위소득 30% 이하)·의료급여(중위소득 40% 이하)·주거급여(중위소득 45% 이하)·교육급여(중위소득 50% 이하) 수급조건에 부합하지 않더라도 필요 서비스를 지원해 위기 청소년이 안정적인 일상을 유지할 수 있도록 돕는다.

실제로 소득에 따른 선정 기준을 지난해 중위소득 72%이하(생활·건강지원 65%이하)에서 올해 100% 이하로 조정되는 등 위기 청소년 특별지원 대상 선정기준은 완화되는 추세다.

지원 서비스는 대상 청소년에게 가장 긴급하거나 중요한 1개의 항목에 대한 지원을 원칙으로 하며 지원 기간은 1년 이내로 하되, 필요한 경우 1년의 범위에서 한 번 더 연장이 가능하며 학업·자립의 경우 두 번까지 연장할 수 있다.

해당 서비스는 청소년 본인 또는 보호자가 주소지 행정복지센터(주소지가 일정하지 않은 경우 시·군·구청)를 방문하거나 복지로 누리집을 통해서 신청할 수 있다.
