(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 6일 신임 부구청장으로 윤백진 인천경제자유구역청 영종청라사업본부장을 임명했다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 신임 부구청장으로 임명된 윤백진 부구청장은1967년생으로 지난 1987년 임용 이후 인천시 항만과장, 해양항만과장을 거쳤으며, 지난 2021년 지방부이사관 승진 후 지방자치인재개발원 고위정책과정 파견을 다녀왔다.

2022년 1월부터는 인천경제청 영종청라사업본부장을 역임하다 지난 2월 6일자로 부평구 부구청장에 임명됐다.

윤백진 부구청장은 “많은 잠재력을 지닌 부평구가 수도권의 으뜸 도시로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 차준택 구청장님, 1천400여 공직자들과 함께 노력하겠다”며 “지역의 많은 현안들을 원활히 추진할 수 있도록 인천시를 비롯한 각 기관과 긴밀히 협조할 것”이라고 말했다.

한편,  김상섭 전 부구청장은 인천시의회 사무처장으로 자리를 옮겼다.
