(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 오는 7월까지 여성 경제·사회 참여 확대의 토대를 마련하기 위한 ‘경력단절 여성 실태조사 연구용역’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.
서구에 따르면, 이번 연구는 민선8기 공약사항 이행의 하나로 결혼, 임신과 출산, 육아, 가족돌봄, 근로조건 등을 이유로 경력이 단절된 여성의 실태와 수요조사를 진행한다.
이를 통해 서구 내 경력단절여성 특성과 정책 수요를 파악하고 지역 특색에 맞는 취·창업 지원방안을 도출한다는 계획이다.
이번 연구용역은 인천여성가족재단이 맡아 연구를 수행하며 재단은 서구에 거주하는 만 19세 이상 54세 이하 경력단절여성을 대상으로 지역별, 연령별, 학력별 등 다각적 실태조사와 함께 취·창업 교육에 대한 수요조사를 진행한다.
