계양구에 따르면, 이날 유정복 시장은 지역의 현안을 논의하고 구민과 소통하는 시간을 가졌으며 구 의회 방문, 주요현안 업무보고, 기자와의 간담회, ‘생생톡톡 애인(愛仁)소통’의 일정으로 진행됐다.

계양구는 주요현안 업무보고를 통해 구 역점추진 사업인 계양 문화예술 공연장 건립, 계양AG 제척부지 체육공원 조성 지원, 경인아라뱃길 수변관광지 조성 지원, 서운도서관 이전 신축 등을 주요 안건으로 보고하고 시의 적극적인 행정지원과 협조를 건의했다.

이날 보고회에서 유 시장은  “구의 현안사항에 대해 시정에 적극 반영하고, 다각적인 해결방안 모색해서 여러 사업이 차질 없이 진행될 수 있도록 시에서도 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.

이후 ‘생생톡톡 애인(愛仁)소통’ 시민과의 대화에서는 350여 명의 계양구민이 참석한 가운데 유 시장은 2023년 시정 운영방향을 설명하고 시민과의 대화를 통해 현장에서 다양한 건의사항을 청취했다.
