(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 2일 구가 운영 중인 청년활동 거점공간 ‘청년센터 서구1939’의 올해 운영계획을 수립하고 청년을 위한, 청년과 함께하는 다양한 정책을 추진한다고 밝혔다. 
 

서구에 따르면, 지난해 9월 가정동 루원시티에 문을 연 청년센터는 청년들의 커뮤니티 공간을 제공하고 청년에게 필요한 학습과 프로그램을 알리는 청년지원 플랫폼 역할을 하고 있다.
 

올해 청년센터는 청년 삶의 질 향상을 위해 프로그램을 비롯해 공간 지원, 커뮤니티 지원, 취‧창업 맞춤형 상담 지원, 정책정보 제공 등 종합안내 기능 강화에 초점을 맞춘다는 방침이다.

 
또,  정책 사각지대에 있는 고립은둔 청년, 자립준비 청년, 이주배경 청년, 발달장애 청년 등을 대상으로 정서적인 어려움을 줄일 수 있는 맞춤형 커뮤니티와 프로그램을 마련했다.

아울러 서구는 청년센터를 다양한 세대와도 공유할 예정이며 먼저 센터의 높은 접근성을 장점 삼아 청소년들이 안전하게 활동하고, 청년센터에 관심 갖도록 일부 공간을 개방한다.

또한, 청년기획자 또는 단체와 협력해 청년센터를 거점으로 여러 분야의 사업에 도전해보는 ‘아지트 공감’ 사업을 4월부터 진행한다.

 
또, 공간대관 활성화를 위해 각종 모임과 스터디, 회의 등 다양한 교류에 있어 청년센터 서구1939 공간을 제공하고, 모임 지원사업을 운영해 옥상텃밭·옥상영화제·로컬 크리에이터 양성과정·사회생활 아카데미 등 역량 강화 프로그램도 펼칠 계획이다.
 

사회관계망서비스(SNS)를 활용한 이벤트 역시 다채롭게 진행되며 관련 정책을 청년 눈높이와 감수성에 맞게 제공하고자 유튜브와 인스타그램, 블로그를 통한 이벤트를 활성화할 예정이다.
