(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천시가 2일 2월의 해양유물로 선정된 ‘항만근로자 하역장비’를  소개한다고 밝혔다

인천시에 따르면, ‘항만근로자 하역장비’는  한국항만연수원 인천연수원이 인천항‧목포항 등 전국 항만에서 수집·관리해 오던 1960~1980년대 하역장비 40건, 103점을 국립인천해양박물관에 기증했다.

기증유물로는 항만근로자들이 짐을 운반할 때마다 삯을 계산하던 짐표(만보, 오만보), 원목 하역작업 시 착용했던 미끄럼 방지용 안전화, 생선상자 하역용 갈고리, 뗏목 하역을 위해 발간한 최초의 원목작업 교재, 석탄‧광석의 운반용 지게, 중량물을 옮길 때 사용한 목도 등 각종 하역물 운반 장비들이 포함돼 있다. 인천연수원은 항만노동의 역사를 국민들에게 알리고, 남겨진 유물들을 보존해 후손들에게 전해달라며 소중한 자료들을 기증했다.

이 항만 하역장비들은 2024년 개관 예정으로 건립 중인 국립인천해양박물관에 전시될 예정이다.
