인천시에 따르면, 지원사업은 소규모사업장 방지시설 설치·지원, 중소기업 환경개선자금 이자지원, 굴뚝자동측정기기 설치비 및 운영관리비 지원, 가스열펌프(GHP) 냉난방기 개조지원 등 총 4개 사업으로, 올해 총 189억 원이 지원된다.

이중 가장 큰 규모의 사업인 ‘소규모사업장 방지시설 설치·지원사업’은 중소기업의 3년 이상 노후 환경오염방지시설의 개선비용, 저녹스버너 교체비용, 사물인터넷(IoT) 측정기기 부착비용의 90%를 지원하는 사업이다.
