(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평세림병원(병원장 양문술)이 1월 31일까지 거점코로나전담병원으로서의 역할을 무리없이 수행하고 오는 2월 1일부터 코로나 이전과 같이 정상적으로 외래 진료와 함께 입원 및 수술적 치료를 시행한다고 밝혔다.
부평세림병원에 따르면, 병원은 2021년 12월 코로나 거점전담병원으로 지정되어 코로나 19 치료의 중추적 역할을 담당했고, 지난 12월 31일 코로나전담병원 지정 해제가 예정되어 정상화를 준비하던 중 코로나 7차 대유행으로 인한 지자체의 연장 의뢰요청을 적극 수용하여 2023년 1월까지 연장하게 됐다.
거점코로나전담병원인 기간에는 외래 진료만 시행하고, 입원은 코로나환자만 가능했기에 응급을 요하는 수술환자가 발생해도 처치를 하지 못하고 불가피하게 타 병원으로 전원하여 치료를 받게 할 수 밖에 없었으나 오는 2월 1일부터는 병원의 모든 기능이 정상화되어 외래 진료를 포함한 입원 및 모든 수술적 치료가 가능해진다
