(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천해양경찰서가 지난 26일 구조대 등 현장부서의 해상 구조역량을 강화하기 위해 겨울바다 혹한기 훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다.  
 

인천해경에 따르면 서해 바다에서의 전복선이나 침몰선 발생 상황에 신속하게 대응하기 위해 파출소, 구조대 소속 경찰관이 합동으로 인천해경전용부두 앞 해상에서 수중 훈련을 실시했다.

 
이날 합동 훈련은 13명이 참여한 가운데 바다 속 수심 10m~ 12m 까지 단계적인 잠수훈련을 실시했으며 전복 선박 인명구조 절차에 의한 훈련으로 이뤄졌다.

 
또, 보다 효과적인 대응방법을 발굴하고 구조기법을 공유 했으며, 상황별 체계적인 임무 분담을 논의했다.

인천해경 관계자는 “서해 바다의 경우 조류가 매우 강하고 시야확보가 어려워 전복이나 침몰사고시 신속하게 인명을 구조하는 것이 매우 중요하다”며, “앞으로도 해상에서의 국민 안전을 지키기 위해 훈련을 계속하겠다”고 말했다.
