(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청 도성훈 교육감이 지난 1일 오라카이 송도파크호텔에서 개최한 ‘2022중등 맘애(愛)드림 학부모 공감토크’에 참석해 “해외대학 인천교육감 추천전형을 앞으로 더욱 확대하겠다”고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면, 해외대학 인천교육감 추천전형은 관내 학생이 외국 대학에 입학할 수 있도록 교육감이 추천하는 제도로 출신고등학교장 추천을 받은 졸업예정자와 졸업자 중 교육청이 자체 적격여부 심사를 진행해 선발한다.

인천시교육청은 교육감 입학전형을 위해 인천글로벌캠퍼스 겐트대학교, 중국 산동대학교 등 해외 대학과 업무협약을 맺고 관련 과정을 운영 중이다.

한편, 교육감 추천 전형으로 올해 인천글로벌캠퍼스 겐트대학교에 학생 10명이 합격해 재학 중이고, 2023학년도에는 겐트대 45명, 중국 산동대 5명을 해당 전형으로 모집한다.
