(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 30일 지난 6월 제8회 전국동시지방선거 과정에서 제기된 허위 사실 공표 및 명예훼손 등과 관련해 최근 검찰에서 모두 무혐의 처분을 받은 도성훈 교육감이  교직원 등 인천 교육 가족 모두에게 “인천교육을 더욱 청렴하고 공정하며 투명한 행정이 되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

인천시교육청에 따르면,  도성훈 교육감은 시교육청에서 열린 공감회의에서 “선거기간 중 저에게 제기된 혐의에 대해 모두 ‘혐의없음’이 결정됐다”며 “앞으로 학생성공시대를 위한 정책추진에 더욱 집중하고 매진하겠다”고 했다.

도 교육감은 최근 인천 한 빌라에서 발생한 형제의 안타까운 사망 사건과 관련해 “비극적인 소식을 접해 마음이 아프다”며 “우리 아이들이 더 안전한 삶의 여건을 만들기 위해 무엇을 해야 하는지를 고민했다”고 말하며 이어 “함께 생활했던 학생과 교직원의 심리치료 등 다양한 지원방법을 모색하라”고 덧붙였다.
