(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구 주민참여예산 주민위원회가 지난 10일 구청 참여방 등에서 실시한 주민참여예산 제안사업 분과 심의를 통해 접수된 제안에 대한 우선순위를 선정했다.

부평구는 지난 6월 말까지 22개 동 지역위원회와 청소년·청년·다문화가족·자원봉사자 등 참여예산학교, 홈페이지 등을 통해 총 113건을 접수했다.

제안된 사업은 담당 부서의 적합성 검토 이후 5개 분과 97명으로 구성된 주민위원회가 7월부터 총 11회에 걸쳐 분과별 심의과정을 진행했다.

현장조사가 필요한 경우 제안자와 주민참여예산 위원, 구 담당 부서 등이 참여해 민관 합동으로 조사를 실시했다.

그 결과 희망체육공원 도입 경사로 보도 설치, 부흥초 안전한 통학로 만들기, 청년 맞춤형 주거안정 지원교육 등을 분과별 사업 우선순위로 선정했다.

사업은 9월 중 민관협의회와 구 의회 예산 심의를 거쳐 2023년 본예산에 편성되며, 결과는 구 홈페이지에 게시할 예정이며 내년도 주민참여예산사업은 약 20억 원 규모다.

류기정 부평구 주민참여예산위원장은 “주민으로서 지역 문제를 해결하기 위한 예산편성 과정에 참여하게 돼 뜻깊다”며 “주민위원회에서 심의한 사업들이 내년도 예산에 최대한 반영되길 바란다”고 말했다.

차준택 구청장은 “주민참여예산제를 통해 주민들의 요구사항이 최대한 반영될 수 있도록 노력할 것”이라며 “앞으로도 참여예산학교 확대 등 자치분권 시대에 알맞은 주민참여예산제를 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
