(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 ‘국토교통부 소규모주택정비 관리지역 후보지’로 원미동·소사본동·고강동 일원 등 응모한 3곳이 모두 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

이번에 선정된 지역은 원미동 부천북초등학교 남측, 소사본동 부천한신아파트 남측, 고강동 고강선사유적공원 동측이다.

소규모주택정비 관리지역은 노후 저층주거지의 난개발을 방지하고 소규모주택정비사업의 계획적 추진을 위해 지난해 도입된 제도다.

공공이 기반시설 설치를 지원하고 각종 규제 특례를 적용하여 민간의 소규모주택정비사업을 활성화한다는 게 골자다.

국토교통부에 따르면 기초 지자체에서 소규모주택정비 관리계획을 신속하게 수립하도록 컨설팅, 광역지자체 협의 등을 적극 지원할 예정이며, 관리지역으로 지정된 후 관리계획을 평가하여 도로, 주차장, 공원, 도서관 등 기반시설 조성에 필요한 비용을 국비 최대 150억원까지 지원한다.
