(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가  ‘긴급지원 지원금액 및 재산의 합계액 기준’ 개정·시행에 따라 7월 1일부터 생계지원금의 단가를 인상하고 재산 및 금융재산 기준을 올해 연말까지 완화하는 등 긴급복지 지원을 확대한다.

긴급복지 지원은 갑작스러운 실직, 질병 등 위기사유 발생으로 생계 유지가 곤란한 가구에 생계비 등을 지원하는 제도이다.

7월 기준확대로 생계지원금 단가는 기준중위소득 26%수준에서 30%수준까지 대폭 인상된다.

이에 따라 1인가구 생계지원금은 기존 48만8,800원에서 58만3,400원으로, 4인가구의 경우 130만4,900원에서 153만6,300원으로 인상해 지급한다.

또한, 긴급지원이 필요하나 현금화가 곤란한 실거주 주택 1곳에 대해 ‘주거용 재산공제 한도액’이 신설되어 최대 1억9,400만 원까지 일반재산 기준 금액이 확대 적용된다.

금융재산 기준은 생활준비금 공제율을 기존 65%에서 100%로 확대하여 1인 기준 194만원을 공제하는 등 올 연말까지 한시적으로 완화된 기준을 적용할 계획이다.

부천시는 위기상황 속에서 변경된 제도를 알지 못해 지원을 받지 못하는 가구가 발생하지 않도록 7월11일부터 8월5일까지 집중 홍보기간을 운영, 대상자 발굴에 행정력을 집중할 방침이다.

박화복 복지정책과장은 “긴급복지지원 확대로 위기상황에 처한 가구를 적극 발굴하고 신속하게 지원할 것이다”며 “고유가·고물가로 어려움을 겪는 저소득층 생활 안정에 기여하고자 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
