(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천서부경찰서(서장 임실기)가 지난 29일 국민이 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 TMAP 내비게이션(앱)에 인천 최초로 음주 예방 홍보물을 게시하여 음주운전 사고 예방을 위한 업무협약을 했다.

티맵모빌리티는 가입자 1900여 만명으로, 일일 활성 사용자 수만 484만명에 달하는 국내 1위 내비게이션 서비스다.

협약에 따라 교통관련 정보를 정기적으로 공지사항 내 공유하여 교통안전 정책의 자료로 삼고 티맵 모빌리티를 이용하는 운전자들 상대로 홍보할 계획이다.

우선적으로 서부경찰서에서는 재범률이 40% 이상 차지하는 음주운전의 문제점을 개선하기 위해 음주 운전자에 대한 특별교육을 대폭 강화하는 도로교통법 시행령‧규칙 홍보물(인포그래픽)을 활용한 홍보를 전개한다.

이후 정기적인 홍보물 게시 외에도 교통안전공단(인천본부)와 협업을 통한, 음주운전 예방 음성안내 송출, 음주운전 예방 상식 퀴즈 이벤트 등 팝업 형태로 현출시켜 안전한 운전문화 습관을 만들어 나갈 계획이다.

이에, 서부경찰서(서장 임실기)는“음주운전은 운전자 자신뿐만 아니라 타인의 삻을 송두리째 짓밟아 버리는 큰 범죄라는 것을 알고, 음주시에는 반드시 대중교통을 이용하고, 부득히 차량을 운전할 경우 대리운전 하는 등 음주운전은 절대 하지 말아야 한다”고 강조했다.
