인천대, 스포츠산업 창업지원실 입주기업 모집 및 과학문화 전문가양성과정 운영

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자)  인천대학교 창업지원단이 7월 10일까지 청년 일자리 창출과 지역경제 활성화에 기여하고자 ‘인천시 스포츠산업 창업지원실’ 입주기업을 모집한다.


‘인천시 스포츠산업 창업지원실’은 공공체육시설(인천아시아드주경기장)을 활용하여 스포츠산업 창업기업들에게 창업활동공간을 무상으로 제공하고, 창업기업의 성장과 판로 개척을 위한 맞춤 사업화 지원 프로그램까지 지원함으로 인천시의 청년 일자리 창출 및 경제 활성도 도모하고자 추진됐다.


지원대상은 공고일 기준으로 창업 7년 이내 스포츠산업 창업기업이며 서류평가와 발표평가를 통하여 총 10개 입주기업을 선정한다.


선정 후에는 창업지원실 내에 본사 또는 지점, 연구소를 설립하거나 이전해야 한다.


현재 인천아시아드주경기장은 창업공간 맞춤형으로 리모델링 공사를 진행 중이며, 개소식 및 최종 선정 기업의 입주는 8월 말로 예정되어 있다.


‘인천시 스포츠산업 창업지원실’사업의 자세한 내용 및 신청서는 인천대학교 창업지원단 홈페이지에서 확인 가능하며 7월 10일 24시까지 이메일로 신청서를 접수하면 된다.

또한, 인천과학문화거점센터(센터장 인천대 창의인재개발학과 한기순 교수)가 인천지역의 과학문화 생태계를 조성함으로 과학교육복지를 실현하기 위해 인천지역 기업과 시민들을 위한 다양한 형태의 과학문화 전문가양성과정을 계획하고 있다.


그 첫 시작으로 성인들을 대상으로 생애주기별 필요한 과학적 소양 교육과 전환기 재취업을 전제한 전문역량교육을 제공하고자 “과학문화 전문가양성과정(생활과학편)”을 최근 성공적으로 마쳤다.


오프라인으로 진행된 이번 과정은 기초과학인 생물, 화학, 물리를 중심으로 한 다양한 실험과 함께 어렵게만 느껴졌던 과학이론을 배울 수 있는 시간으로 채워 학습자들에게 ‘과학’이라는 또 다른 세상을 깊게 들여 다 볼 수 있는 기회를 마련했다.


특히, 경력단절 여성의 참여를 독려하기 위해 자녀가 있는 여성의 경우, 전문가양성과정을 이수하는 동안 자녀가 과학으로 놀면서 기다릴 수 있는 놀이 공간을 조성함으로 참여의 기회를 넓혔다.


이번 과정에는 과학에 대한 관심과 흥미가 있거나 과학을 통해 자녀와의 소통을 원하는 수강생들, 그리고 개인의 역량 강화나 취업 등의 다양한 이유로 참여했으며, 한 수강생은 “오프라인 수업으로 고단함은 있었지만, 팬데믹 이전의 우리 일상으로의 복귀를 알리는 신호탄과 같이 가치 있는 수업이었다”며 만족감을 보였다.


한편, 인천과학문화거점센터는 과학문화 전문가양성과정을 이수한 수료생을 대상으로 이후 진행되는 센터에서 운영하는 다양한 프로그램과 연계할 수 있는 다양한 활동들을 모색하고 있다.
