최근 들어 각종 도시문제에 대한 해결책으로 기존 인프라에 모바일 앱·인공지능(AI)·빅데이터 등 스마트기술을 접목한 저비용·고효율 접근방식이 주목받고 있다.

이에 따라 인천시는 스마트기술을 활용해 시정과 관련한 각종 현안문제를 진단하고, 해결방안을 제시하는 등 전문 컨설팅을 통해 창의적이고 효율적인 행정 서비스가 제공되도록 할 방침이다.
