(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 숙련된 기술을 바탕으로 인천 산업발전에 공헌하고 지역사회와 함께할 미추홀명장 선정을 위해 우수 숙련기술인들의 도전을 기다린다.

2017년부터 시행된 이 사업을 통해 그동안 다양한 분야에서 11명의 미추홀명장이 탄생했다.

올해에는 37개 분야 85개 직종에서 우수 숙련기술인을 10명 이내로 선정하게 된다.

신청을 원하는 기술자는 15년 이상 인천 산업현장에서 계속 근무하고, 공고일(2022.5.11.) 현재 주민등록 주소지가 인천이여야 하며 숙련기술 보유정도가 높고 숙련기술발전에 성과가 우수하고 대한민국명장 또는 그와 유사한 상을 받은 경력이 없어야 한다.

선정접수기간은 오는 6월 2일 부터 6월 23일까지다.

군‧구, 중부지방고용노동청, 인천지방중소벤처기업청, 한국산업인력공단 인천지역본부, 한국산업단지공단 인천지역본부, 지역 내 기업체의 장, 업종별 협회의 장의 추천(서)을 받아 인천시청 일자리경제과로 접수하면 된다.

서류심사 및 현장 확인 후 최종 심사위원회에서 미추홀명장을 선정하며, 최종결과는 9월부터 10월 중 발표할 예정이다.

미추홀명장으로 선정되면 미추홀명장 인증서 및 인증패 수여는 물론, 기술장려금 500만 원이 지급되며(연 100만원씩 5년간) 인천지하철 2호선 인천시청 역사 내 위치한 명장의 전당에 등재된다.

조인권 시 일자리경제본부장은 “인천에서 자기 분야의 으뜸인 많은 우수 숙련기술인들이 아름다운 도전을 통해 최고의 영예인 미추홀 명장으로 선정돼 명장의 전당 자리가 가득 채워지길 바란다”고 말했다.
