(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청(부교육감 장우삼)이 제2기 성인식 개선 학생참여단 발대식을 실시했다.

성인식 개선 학생참여단은 지역과 학년, 성별 등 다양한 기준을 바탕으로 초등학교 5학년부터 고등학교 2학년 총 26명의 학생과 지도교사 6명으로 구성됐다.

이들은 학생들의 주체적 참여를 통해 성인지감수성을 향상하고 인천시교육청의 성차별 성폭력 없는 학교 및 교육환경 조성을 위한 정책 추진에 학생의 의견을 수렴한다.

이날 발대식에는 성인지 정책 제안 방법에 대한 연수와 성인지 교육극인 샌드아트 공연을 관람하고 토론의 시간을 가졌다.

학생참여단은 앞으로 분기별 정기모임을 통해 성인식 개선 활동과 정책 제안서 작성 및 토의 등 교육의 주체로서 다양한 성인지교육 정책에 참여한다.

인천시교육청 관계자는 “학생들의 의견을 맘껏 표현해 주기 바란다”며 “주체적인 활동이 실천하는 민주시민으로 성장하는데 소중한 경험이 될 것이다”고 말했다.

또한, 인천시교육청이 18일 학교폭력예방을 위한 우리 아이 마음 읽기 학부모 연수를 운영했다.

이번 연수는 관내 학부모 50명을 대상으로 다양한 학교폭력의 발생 원인을 이해하고 지혜롭게 대처하는 방법을 안내했다.

연수 내용을 바탕으로 자녀와 미니정원을 가꾸며 소통하는 활동을 했다.

강사는 푸른나무재단 꿈키움위센터 이유미 센터장으로 폭넓은 학교폭력 관련 상담 결과를 바탕으로 학교폭력 예방의 중요성에 대해 강조하고, 최근 발생하고 있는 사이버폭력 사례와 대응방법을 안내했다.

학교폭력 예방 시작은 가족과의 소통임을 이야기하고 긍정 이미지를 통해 강점찾기와 마테메오 상담기법을 활용해 자녀의 마음을 이해하는 연습을 해본다.

연수에 참여한 학부모는 “이번 연수를 통해 학교폭력에 대한 경각심을 갖게 되었고 자녀의 친구관계와 학교생활에 관심을 갖고 평소 대화를 많이 나눌 것이다”고 했다.

인천시교육청 관계자는 “학교폭력 예방을 위해 가정과 학교, 전 사회가 관심을 가질 수 있도록 다양한 교육과 홍보를 하겠다”고 말했다.
