(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 지난 12일부터 계양아시아드양궁장에서 개최된 ‘제4회 계양구청장배 전국 양궁대회’가 5일간의 열전 끝에 16일 시상식을 마지막으로 성황리에 막을 내렸다고 밝혔다.

이번 대회는 전국시도를 대표하는 47개 팀 198명의 선수가 참가했으며 고등부ㆍ대학부ㆍ일반부를 통합한 올림픽라운드(70m 리커브)방식으로 진행됐다.

여자 개인전은 곽진영(전북도청)이 우승을 차지했고, 염혜정(부개고등학교)이 2위, 전성은(하이트진로)과 박재희(홍성군청)가 공동 3위에 올랐다.

남자 개인전은 원종혁(청주시청)이 1위를, 이한샘(울산남구청)이 2위, 진재왕(두산에너빌리티)과 계양구청(조대진)이 나란히 3위를 차지하였다.

특히, 대회 주관 단체인 계양구청 양궁선수단의 막내, 조대진 선수가 지역주민들의 응원에 힘입어 개인전에서 입상하여 기쁨을 더했다.  

단체전에서는 코오롱엑스텐과 현대모비스가 각각 남자부․여자부 우승을 차지했으며 남자 단체전 2위는 대구중구청, 3위는 안동대학교와 서울시청이, 여자 단체전 2위는 인천시청, 3위는 LH와 청주시청이 차지했다.

박형우 계양구청장은 “코로나19 등 어려운 여건 속에 다시금 개최된 계양구청장배 전국양궁대회가 성공적으로 막을 내릴 수 있도록 많은 관심과 응원을 보내주신 계양구민과 대회 관계자분들에게 감사드린다”며, “지속적인 대회 개최와 안정적인 운영으로 계양구가 한국양궁의 저변확대와 우수인재 발굴 등에 기여할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
