(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 구직단념 청년의 사회참여역량을 강화하고 취업을 지원하기 위해 ‘2022년 청년도전 지원사업’ 참여자를 모집한다.

고용노동부 공모사업인 ‘청년도전 지원사업’은 부평구에서 운영하는 청년 공간 ‘유유기지 부평’을 중심으로 구직단념 청년을 발굴·모집해 사회활동 참여 의욕을 높이고, 취업 역량을 강화하기 위해 2~3개월 맞춤형 프로그램을 제공하는 사업이다.

모집 대상은 6개월 이상 취업 및 교육·직업훈련 참여 이력이 없는 만 18~34세 구직단념 청년이다.

요건에 해당하지 않더라도 생계형 아르바이트 중인 청년이나 폐업 자영업 청년도 정원의 30% 이내에서 참여할 수 있다.

프로그램에 참여하는 청년에게는 1:1 맞춤형 상담을 통한 자신감 회복, 진로 탐색·취업역량 강화 등에 대한 프로그램 수강, 청년 정책 및 취업 정보 등을 지원한다.

총 40시간의 유형별 프로그램을 이수하는 경우 20만 원의 인센티브도 지급한다.

프로그램을 이수한 청년에게는 국민취업지원제도와 연계해 종합취업지원 서비스를 제공하고, 프로그램 이수 청년을 채용하는 기업에는 고용촉진장려금을 지원한다.

부평구 관계자는 “이 사업을 통해 구직활동에 자신감을 잃은 미취업 청년들이 자신감을 회복하고 구직에 대한 노력을 이어가길 바란다”고 말했다.
