(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천본부세관, 평택직할세관, 군산세관이 17일 군산세관에서 서해안 밀수의 공동 대응을 통한 단속의 실효성을 확보하기 위해 서해안 벨트 밀수단속 협력회의를 개최했다.

이번 회의는 서해안 밀수단속의 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있는 세관간 밀수관련 정보를 공유하고, 공동대응을 통하여 불법행위를 철저히 차단하기 위하여 개최됐다.

특히, 서해안 중요 세관인 세 기관의 불법단속에 대한 공조와 협력을 보다 공고히 함으로써 특정지역이나 분야에 단속이 집중되면 다른 경로로 불법행위가 이동하는 풍선효과를 차단하기 위해 마련됐다.

이번 회의에는 세 기관의 세관장이 직접 참석하여 협력의 필요성에 대해 서로 공감하고 공동대응의 중요성을 적극 강조하였으며, 통관 · 조사 · 감시분야에서 구체적인 이행방안 등이 심도 있게 논의됐다.
