(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청동아시아국제교육원(원장 유충열, 이하 동아시아국제교육원)은 8월까지 ‘동아시아의 정신을 느껴봅시다!(Feel East Asian SpiriT)’를 주제로 동아시아 영화를 감상하는 동아시아국제영화제를 실시한다.

2022 동아시아영화제는 14일 중국편을 시작으로 일본, 인도, 태국 영화를 총 4회 상영한다.

영화 상영 전 국가와 관련된 문화 체험 부스를 운영해 가족과 함께 다양한 동아시아 국가의 문화를 접할 수 있다.

중국편 영화제는 주한중국문화원의 후원을 통해 중국 전통 미술품 전시, 전통 의상 체험존을 운영하고 중국 전통놀이 체험, 만들기 체험, 중국 간식 맛보기 체험도 함께 진행됐다.

상영작인 ‘나의 붉은고래(2017)’는 중국에서 큰 사랑을 받으며 한화 기준 940억이라는 수익을 기록한 흥행작이다.

중국 철학자 ‘장자’의 사상에 기초한 스토리로 붉은 고래로 변해버린 한 인간소년을 위해 펼치는 주인공들의 기적 같은 모험을 압도적인 영상미와 스케일로 잘 그려냈다.

6월 11일 일본편 ‘리틀포레스트: 사계절(2017)’, 7월 23일 인도편 ‘당갈(2016)’, 8월 13일 태국편 ‘선생님의 일기(2014)’가 상영될 예정이다.

동아시아국제교육원 관계자는 “이번 행사를 통해 잠시나마 가족, 지인과 함께 마음의 여유를 찾는 힐링의 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

영화제 참석 인원은 회기별 선착순 100명이며, 참여 방법은 인천시교육청동아시아국제교육원 홈페이지를 통해 공지된 예약 링크를 통해서 개별 신청이 가능하다.
