(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 더불어민주당 차준택 부평구청장 후보가 17일 주요 핵심 공약으로 더 큰 부평 만드는 ‘공간e음 프로젝트’를 발표했다.

공간e음 프로젝트는 ‘도시를 잇고, 사람을 잇고, 공간을 잇는다’는 콘셉트로 빠른 교통, 푸른 녹지, 새로 나는 물길을 통해 활력 넘치는 부평을 만든다는 뜻을 담고 있다.

공간e음 프로젝트는 기존에 진행 중이던 핵심 사업과 신규 사업이 함께 엮어 더 큰 부평을 실현하는 형태로 이뤄져 있다.

먼저 기존의 핵심 사업으로는 캠프마켓 공원화, 제3보급단 이전, 부평역 GTX-B 복합환승센터 건립, 굴포천 생태하천 복원, 지속가능부평 11번가 도시재생뉴딜사업 완공 등 굵직한 대형 사업이 주를 이루고 있다.

새로 추가된 신규 사업으로는 1113공병단 대형 복합시설 유치, 부평구청 역세권 개발 및 생활형 공공시설 조성, 굴포천 은하수길 조성, 부평연안부두선 트램 일신동 연장, 부평 상권 르네상스 사업 등이 있다.

 
제1113공병단 부지에는 문화와 상업을 담은 대형 복합시설을 유치해 구민이 원하는 시설을 입주시키는 데 주력한다.

부평구청 역세권 개발 및 생활형 공공시설 조성 공약으로는 옛 부평등기소와 현 부평경찰서 부지를 엮어 민간 개발하고, 생활형 공공시설을 기부채납 받아 역세권에 활력을 불어넣을 예정이다.

굴포천 은하수길은 현재 기후변화체험관에 조성돼 있는 야경 명소 ‘굴포빛누리’처럼 굴포천 전역을 야경길이자 관광 명소로 만드는 사업이다.

 
인천부평연안부두선 트램 일신동 연장 공약은 최근 확정된 부평역~연안부두 트램을 군용 철로가 깔려있는 일신동까지 연장하는 사업으로, 지역 주민의 숙원사업이기도 하다.
