(브레이크뉴인천 박상도 기자) 중부지방해양경찰청(청장 김병로)이 봄철 바다낚시 성수기를 맞아 해양 안전을 위협하는 불법행위에 대해 불시 특별단속을 시행한다.

이번 단속에서는 정당한 사유 없이 ‘어선위치발신장치’ 미작동 또는 고장․분실신고 미이행, 낚시어선업의 ‘영업구역’ 위반, 서해특정해역 내 낚시영업(영업구역 제한 명령 위반) 등 낚시어선 3대 불법행위를 집중 단속 예정이다.

중부지방해양경찰청은 최근 우럭, 광어 등의 낚시를 위해 많은 낚시객들이 바다를 찾고 있는 가운데, 일부 낚시어선들이 ‘먼바다 심해침선’, ‘손맛 약속’ 등을 홍보하며, 위치발신장치를 작동하지 않은 채로 영업구역 위반, 서해특정해역 내 낚시영업을 시도하는 행위 등을 철저하게 근절할 방침이다.
