(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 한국환경산업기술원(원장 유제철)이 안전확인대상생활화학제품*을 제조･수입하는 기업의 경제적 부담을 덜어주기 위해 안전기준 적합 여부 확인에 소요된 시험·검사비를 지원한다.

지원 대상은 2021년 4월 1일부터 2022년 4월 30일까지 안전확인대상생활화학제품 신고증명서를 발급받은 중소기업이다.

선정된 기업은 제품당 시험·검사비(부가세 제외)의 70% 이내, 기업당 최대 150만 원까지 지원받을 수 있다.

시험·검사비 지원을 원하는 기업은 5월 20일까지 화학제품관리시스템을 통해 신청서류를 제출하면 된다.

한국환경산업기술원은 접수된 서류를 검토해 지원대상 기업과 지원금액을 선정하고 상반기 중에 지원금을 지급할 예정이다.

또한, 한국환경산업기술원은 생활화학제품의 안전관리에 어려움을 겪는 중소기업을 대상으로 컨설팅 지원사업을 준비하고 있다.

1대1 맞춤형 진단 결과에 따라 기업의 안전기준 이행과 안전관리 개선을 지원하며, 법·제도에 대한 기업역량 강화 교육도 운영할 예정이다.
