Bupyeong-gu mayor Cha Jun-taek visited the site of each implementing agency in line with the 'Bupyeong-gu senior job and social activity support project', which started in earnest in January, and encouraged the participants and employees.
Bupyeong-gu's budget for the elderly job project this year is 22.9 billion won, and the district has selected 5,920 senior job participants since December last year.
The elderly job project includes 5,110 jobs for the promotion of the public interest such as non-no care, support for the vulnerable, and public facility service, 550 social service-type projects that utilize the careers and activities of the elderly such as community care and safety, and the elderly directly It consists of 210 market-type jobs and 50 job placement-type workers who earn profits by operating cafes.
There are a total of 10 new projects, including the waste medicine separation project, home visit project for vulnerable seniors, a project to help the elderly with their financial affairs, and the Health Fire and Fire Service Support Group.
Participants in the project will receive training for each business field at four senior job-performing organizations and begin their full-scale activities.
Mayor Cha Jun-taek said, "As the baby boomer generation has entered the elderly population in earnest, we will do our best to provide various jobs for the elderly and create job-related jobs."
