(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천해양경찰서가 인천 서구 북항 앞 해상에 떠 있는 30대 남성을 구조했다.

 
인천해경은 21일 오전 0시경 서부경찰서로부터 해상을 수색해달라는 공조 요청을 접수하고 인천해경 구조대와 인항파출소 연안구조정 등 구조 세력을 현장에 출동시켰다.

 
현장에 도착한 구조대는 해상에 떠있는 요구조자 A씨(남, 30대)를 발견하고 구조대가 입수 약 20미터를 수영하여 익수자를 구조했다.

 
구조 당시 익수자는 맥박은 있었지만 저체온증으로 인해 말을 할 수 없는 상태였으며 발열담요로 체온을 보호하는 등 조치를 취하고 인천해양경찰전용부두로 이송되어 119 구급대에 인계 후 인근 병원으로 이송하여 치료를 받고 있다.

 
인천해경은 정확한 사고 경위를 파악하고 있으며 당시 겨울철 낮은 수온으로 인해 자칫 매우 위험한 상황으로 이어질 수 있었지만 신속한 출동으로 인명 사고를 방지할 수 있었다고 전했다.
