(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 올해 ‘아이돌봄 지원사업’을 이용자 편의를 고려한 제도 보완으로 부모 양육 부담을 줄이겠다는 방침이다. 
 

아이돌봄 지원사업은 부모 맞벌이 등 사유로 양육 공백 가정 만 12세 이하 아동을 대상으로 아이돌보미가 가정으로 찾아가는 돌봄서비스 사업이다. 
 
서구가 밝힌 주요 개선 내용으로 출산에 따른 돌봄 공백 시 서비스 이용 기간을 총 90일(분할내용)에서 총 5개월(계속사용)로 확대, 조손가족 양육 공백 판정에 대한 구체적 기준 마련, 청소년 부모 가정 판정 기준 및 요금 규정 신설, 다자녀 가정 기준 완화 등 지원을 확대한다는 계획이다.
 

서구는 돌봄 활동 범위 또한 기존 병원 이용과 관련한 규정이 없었으나 단순 감기 등 비전염성 질병은 서비스 기관과 사전 협의해 도보 이동 거리 내 병원 동행이 가능하게 확대했다고 설명했다.
 

야외 놀이 활동 또한 서비스 기관과 협의해 1시간 이내 야외 놀이 활동을 허용하는 것으로 확대했다.
 

서구 관계자는 “서구는 인천 내 아이돌봄서비스 이용 아동과 연계 실적이 가장 많은 지역”이라며 “돌봄 공백 해소를 위해 적극적으로 사업을 추진 중이며 코로나 상황에서도 휴원 및 원격수업 등으로 발생한 돌봄 공백과 방역·의료 인력 가정에 코로나 맞춤형 돌봄 지원사업을 추진 중”이라고 말했다.
 

올해 아이돌봄서비스 이용 요금은 시간당 1만550원으로 신청 가구 소득 기준에 따라 정부지원금이 차등 지원된다.

이용을 희망하는 가정은 가까운 동 행정복지센터나 온라인 복지로 사이트를 통해 신청할 수 있다.
