(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 취약계층을 위한 ‘거동불편인 민원서류 배달제’를 운영한다.

이는 거동이 불편하고 장애의 정도가 심한 장애인이나 65세 이상 독거노인 등을 대상으로 민원서류를 전화로 신청 받아 직접 집으로 배달해주는 서비스다.

전화 한 통으로 발급 가능한 민원서류는 주민등록등초본, 가족관계증명서, 병적증명 등 본인확인이 필요한 민원 21종과 건축물대장, 토지대장 등 본인확인이 필요 없는 민원사무 8종 등 총 29종이다.

신청은 주소지 관할 동 행정복지센터에 전화로 접수하면 되며, 신청 후 최대 8시간 이내에 배달된다. 배달비는 무료이나 민원서류 수수료는 방문 고객과 같다.

계양구 관계자는 "거동불편으로 온·오프라인 창구 이용이 어려운 구민들의 불편함을 덜어 드리고자 민원서류 배달서비스를 시행하고 있으며, 앞으로도 구민의 편의 증진을 위한 다양한 민원서비스를 발굴하겠다"고 말했다.
