(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 오는 24일부터 2월 10일까지‘청년 창업 재정지원사업’참여자를 모집한다.

‘청년 창업 재정지원 사업’은 지역사회 기여 및 성장가능성이 높은 청년 창업자를 발굴해 상가임차료와 마케팅비 등 사업화자금과 맞춤형 창업 컨설팅을 제공하는 사업이다.

이를 통해 청년들이 지역에서 자립할 수 있는 환경을 마련한다는 목표다.

모집 대상은 부평구에 거주하는 만 39세 이하의 미취업 청년으로, 초기지원형 팀 10명과 성장지원형 팀 6명을 각각 모집한다.

접수기간 중 신청서를 받아 심사를 거친 후 최종 팀 16명을 선정해 사업화자금 및 창업컨설팅 등을 지원할 예정이다.

초기지원형은 1년 미만 창업자 또는 예비창업자로 사업화자금 최대 1천200만 원을 지원하고, 성장지원형은 청년을 1명 이상 고용 중인 7년 이하 창업자로 사업화자금 최대 1천500만 원을 지원한다.

부평구는 지난 2019년부터 인천지역 자치구 중 처음으로 전액 구비를 투입해 ‘청년창업 재정지원 사업’을 진행하고 있다.

그동안 총 25명의 청년 창업자에게 ‘청년이 원하는 곳에서 원하는 방식으로’ 창업할 수 있는 여건을 지원했으며, 지역 청년들의 다양한 역량 발굴하고 지역에 안착할 수 있도록 돕는 등 긍정적인 효과를 거두고 있다.
