(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 중부지방해양경찰청이  오는 2월 10일까지 설 명절 해상을 통한 밀입국, 밀수, 수입 수산물 불법유통 등 국제범죄를 사전 예방·차단하기 위한 외사활동을 강화한다.

 
중부해경청은 밀입국·밀수 등 해양 국제범죄 차단을 위한 단속 전담반을 구성하고, 관계기관과 협력해 관할 지역내 밀입국 취약지를 중점 점검하는 등 예방 및 단속을 강화해 나갈 계획이다.

중점 단속대상은  해상 직접 밀입국, 공해상 환적 밀수 범죄,  수입 수산물(일본산 등) 해상 밀수 및 대량 원산지 위반 등 불법유통 사범,  중국발 수입금지물품(식육가공품 등) 밀수입과 불법유통 행위 등이다.

 
중부해경청 관계자는 “밀입국·밀수 신고자에게는 최대 1천만원의 포상금을 지급하고 있다”며, “대국민 신고가 해양국제범죄 대응에 있어 커다란 역할을 하고 있다”고 적극적인 협조를 당부했다.
