(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천본부세관(세관장 최능하)이 15일 광군제·블랙 프라이데이 등 특송물품 급증시기를 앞두고, 민ㆍ관협력을 위하여 인천공항 자체시설 운영 특송업체와 간담회를 개최했다.
인천본부세관은 변화하는 특송물류 환경에 능동적으로 대응하기 위하여 공항특송 물량의 50% 이상을 차지하는 자체시설 운영 특송업체와「인천공항 특송업체 협의회」를 구성했으며 특송업체 총괄책임자들과 소통의 장을 마련하여 특송화물을 이용한 불법물품 차단, 특히 마약류 및 총기류의 밀반입 차단을 위한 세관의 조치에 협조를 요청했다.
아울러 ’21년도 하반기 특송통관 주요정책을 설명하고 2021년 7월 1일부터 시행하고 있는 해외직구물품 구매대행업체 등록제도에 대해 관련 업체 홍보와 정보 공유를 당부했다.
이 간담회에서 특송업체는 급증하는 전자상거래물품의 통관을 위하여 자동분류시스템 등 시설 확장을 추진하고 있어 투자비용 부담과 복잡한 행정절차에 따른 어려움을 호소했고, 이에 대응하기 위한 세관인력 증원과, 법령 및 규정 개정을 통한 절차 간소화가 시급하다고 건의했다
