인천시교육청, 세월호 참사 추모 주간 운영 및 책 읽는 도시 인천 만들기 추진

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 오는 4월 12일부터 16일까지 ‘4.16 세월호 참사 추모 주간’으로 정하고, ‘마중, 별이 된 너를 기억하고 꽃처럼 품다’를 주제로 추모 행사를 진행한다.

 
인천시교육청은 지난 5일 중앙잔디광장에 추모 리본을 상징하는 대형 토피어리를 설치하고, 정문 양쪽으로 바람개비와 추모 리본을 묶어 ‘세월호 추모길’을 조성했다.


또, 세월호 유가족 동아리인 ‘꽃마중’의 작품명 ‘그립고, 그립고, 그리운(2017)’을 홈페이지 배너 및 현수막 디자인으로 사용한다.


추모 리본 달기 행사에 참석한 도성훈 교육감은 “세월호 참사 추모 7주기를 맞아 인천시교육청 학생안전체험관에 ‘다시 일어서는 꿈’ 조형물을 설치하였다”며 “별이 된 학생과 선생님을 언제나 기억하고, 학생 한 명 한 명의 존엄과 생명을 지키기 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

또한,  교원 대상 연수 프로그램으로 ‘세월호일반인추모관’, ‘학생안전체험관’, ‘4.16 기억저장소’를 답사하는 ‘4.16 기억과 약속의 길’을 운영할 계획이다.

이와 함께, 인천시교육청이 책 읽는 공동체 사회를 만들기 위해 교육청 산하 8개 공공도서관과 평생학습관을 주축으로 ‘한 도서관 한 책 캠페인’과 ‘북 리스타트(Book Re-start)운동’을 추진한다.


 ‘한 도서관 한 책 캠페인’은 ‘환경’, ‘힐링’, ‘가족’, ‘기후‧생태’, ‘예술’, ‘어린이문학’, ‘자아실현’, ‘코로나 시대의 여가’, ‘동아시아’ 등 하나의 주제를 선정하고 시민들의 의견을 반영하여 올해의 한 책을 선정했다.

 
각 기관에서는 캠페인 선정 도서의 주제로 저자 강연, 북콘서트, 낭독회, 한 책 릴레이의 함께 읽기 등 온‧오프라인 기반의 다양한 독서문화 체험프로그램을 운영할 계획이다.

 
또한, 생애주기별 맞춤 독서프로그램을 제공하는 ‘북 리스타트 운동’으로 북구도서관에서는 혼자 읽기 어려운 고전책을 함께 읽는 ‘벽돌책 함께 읽기’를, 주안도서관에서는 ‘함께 읽기, 함께 생각하기’를, 서구도서관에서는 ‘함께 읽고 한줄 서평’을 운영한다.

 
부평도서관에서는 ‘실버, 그림책 산책’, ‘시니어 독서동아리’를 진행하고, 연수도서관에서는 ‘그 시절 우리가 사랑했던 책’을, 중앙도서관에서는 ‘기억과 기록’ 치유의 글쓰기가 마련돼 있다.


계양도서관에서는 SNS를 활용한 함께 읽기 ‘책하루 1기, 2기’를, 화도진도서관에서는 ‘4060 수필쓰기’를, 평생학습관에서는 ‘중년들의 독서수다’와 ‘서양고전 함께 읽기’를 계획하고 있다.
