(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 이집트 방위산업청 모너 헤랄(Moner Helal) 국장을 비롯한 방위산업청 방한단이 지난 25일 경기도 안산에 위치한 중소 환경기업 ㈜제이에스티 공장을 방문했다.

㈜제이에스티는 폐기물을 연료화 하는 환경플랜트를 생산하는 기업으로, 한국환경산업기술원의 해외프로젝트 타당성조사 지원을 받아 지난해 101억 원 규모의 이집트 폐기물 선별처리시설 설치사업을 수주했다.

발주처인 이집트 방위산업청 관계자들은 코로나19로 출장이 어려운 상황에서도 한국을 방문해 약 1주일 가량 머물며 사업 진행현황을 점검하고 납품설비를 검수한다.

특히, 이번 방한은 약 200억 원 규모의 후속 사업을 논의하는 자리로서 더욱 의미가 있다.
