(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시미추홀도서관에서 18일부터 2월 7일까지 관내 도서관 및 지역서점과 함께 2021 미추홀북을 최종 선정하기 위한 시민투표를 진행한다.

‘미추홀북’은 인천시에서 2015년부터 진행해온 한 도시 한 책 읽기 독서운동으로 매년 1 ~ 3권의 도서를 선정하여 시민과 함께 읽고 소통하며 공감할 수 있는 다양한 연계프로그램을 진행해 인천시민의 독서문화 정착에 힘써왔다.

올해는 최근 각종 자연재해와 감염병 등으로 인간과 자연과의 관계에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 ‘기후변화와 공생(共生)’을 주제로 어린이·청소년·성인 3개 분야의 도서를 선정한다.

기관추천과 선정위원회 심의를 거쳐 총 9권의 후보도서가 선정됐으며, 이 중 시민투표를 통해 분야별 1권씩 총 3권의 미추홀북이 최종 선정된다.

선정된 도서는 중구, 연수구, 남동구, 서구 등 4개구와 인천시교육청 소속 북구, 부평, 계양 등 3개 도서관과 함께 진행되는 미추홀북 사업에서 독서토론 등 다양한 연계프로그램으로 시민들과 만나게 된다.

투표는 온라인과 오프라인 두 가지 방법을 통해 참여할 수 있다.

온라인 투표는 참여 도서관 홈페이지의 팝업창과 게시판을 통해 통합 투표 페이지로 이동해 진행되며, 모바일로도 참여할 수 있다.

오프라인 투표는 관내 공공·작은도서관, 지역서점 등 20개 투표소에서 현장투표로 진행된다.

추한석 미추홀도서관장은 “1년간 인천시민과 함께할 책인 만큼 시민의 손으로 직접 뽑는 과정이 가장 중요하다”며 시민들의 적극적인 투표 참여를 당부했다.
