특히, 수출의 경우 우리나라 전체 수출액이 5.4% 감소한 반면, 인천은 0.8% 감소한 것으로 나타나 인천지역 수출이 상대적으로 견고한 모습을 보이고 있는 것으로 분석됐다.

인천의 2020년 연간 수출액은 전년대비 0.8% 감소한 377억불로 전국 수출액의 7.4%를 차지했고 품목별로는 철강제품(비중 13.2%, 전년대비 16.3%↓)과 기계류(비중 13.8%, 전년대비 13.4%↓)의 수출이 크게 감소한 것으로 나타났다.
