(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자)인천시가 인천의 대표적 디자인 행사인 인천국제디자인페어를 코로나19 시대를 반영하여 비대면(Untact) 온라인 방식으로 전환하여 개최한다.

이번 행사는 인천시가 주최하고 인천테크노파크(원장 서병조), 인천디자인기업협회(회장 임미정), 인천산업디자인협회(회장 송홍권), 경기일보인천본사(사장 김기태)가 공동으로 주관하며 12월 3일부터 6일까지 4일간 온라인 홈페이지에서 진행된다.

실제 전시공간을 마련해 진행하는 기존의 행사와 달리 모든 전시관을 VR로 관람할 수 있기 때문에 시공간의 제약 없이 편안하고 자유롭게 전시를 관람할 수 있으며, VR 기기를 활용하여 더욱 몰입도 높은 전시를 체험할 수 있다.

총 7가지 개별관으로 구성된 인천국제디자인페어에는 볼거리와 유용한 정보가 가득하다.

‘디자인으로 경험하는 스마트 관광도시 인천!’이라는 주제에 맞게 인천과 관련된 콘텐츠로 주제관을 구성하여 지역정보를 제공하고, 제40회 인천광역시 공예품대전이 사이버 전시의 형태로 공예관에 전시된다.

국내·외 디자이너와 교수들의 디자인 작품 46점이 국제교류관에 전시되며, 주변의 사회문제를 아이디어로 해결하는 국내·외 디자인 콘서트 공모전의 우수작품 전시가 공모전관에 구성되어 국내·외 디자이너부터 일반인까지의 생각을 고루 담은 전시가 구성된다.  

인천 내 28개 디자인기업의 포트폴리오 전시가 기업관에, 인천 내 6개 대학의 학생 및 졸업생 작품 200점 이상이 대학관에 전시되며, 지난 10월 제1회 인천리빙디자인페어에 전시되었던 인천디자인지원센터(IDSC) 홍보관이 VR로 재구성 되어 전시된다.

더 나아가 온라인을 통한 디자인 상담회 운영으로 취업을 원하는 학생과 구인기업간의 매칭과 디자인 기업과 제조·서비스 기업간의 매칭을 통한 일자리 창출과 새로운 비즈니스 모델의 개발 등을 목표로 디자인 상담회를 준비하고 있다.
 
이번 행사에는 기업, 대학, 기관이 참여하는 만큼 산·학·관의 연결을 통해 인천의 디자인 네트워크가 더욱 강화될 것으로 기대된다.

이남주 시 산업진흥과장은‘올해 인천국제디자인페어는 코로나19 로 인해 온라인 방식으로 전환하여 개최하지만, 현장에서 만나는 생동감 못지않은 좋은 컨텐츠들이 준비되어 있고 시공간 제약이 없는 온라인으로 진행되는 만큼 정성껏 준비한 컨텐츠를 전 세계 많은 분들이 마음껏 관람하고 즐길 수 있기를 기대합니다’고 말했다.

또한, 인천시가 오는 7일 2022년 개관을 목표로 순항 중인 국립세계문자박물관을 시민에게 알리고 세계문자 정보를 공유하고자 ‘2020 인천세계문자 포럼’을 온라인으로 개최한다.
 
올해로 제5회를 맞이한 이번 포럼은 “도시와 공존하는 세계문자와 박물관 역할”이라는 주제로 인천시가 주최하고 인하대학교가 주관하며, 국내외 저명한 문자 연구자들 참여로 세계문자 동향 파악은 물론 인천이 글로벌 문화도시로 도약할 방향을 토론하는 자리이다.
