(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 중부지방해양경찰청이 지난 4일 한서대학교와 중부해경청장과 태안해경서장 및 한서대총장, 부총장 등이 참석한 가운데 양 기관이 해양과 항공 안전 증진을 위해 전 방위적인 협력을 약속하는 ‘해양·항공 안전증진 및 상호발전을 위한 업무협약서’를 체결했다.

협약서 주요 내용으로는 해양경찰 현장부서 긴급 구조과정 교육 운영, 수상레저 안전교육 위탁, 해양경찰 특성화 교육과정 개설 등의 내용이 포함됐다.
 
오윤용 중부해경청장은 “이번 양 기관의 업무협약은 해양경찰과 교육계가 협력해 해양·항공분야 업무를 강화하는 계기가 되었다며 국민의 안전을 지키는 디딤돌이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
