(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) (재)인천서구문화재단이 오는 24일부터 11월 8일까지 정서진아트큐브의 2020년 세 번째 기획전시 <퍼블릭 드로잉 프로젝트 : 녹색광선 Le Rayon Vert>을 개최한다.

이번 전시는 그림책 작가 하영과 인천시민 24명이 함께하는 전시로 오일파스텔을 사용해 정서진의 풍경을 그림으로 담아보는 공공(public)프로젝트에서 나온 결과물을 전시하게 된다.

지난 한 달간 시민들은 드로잉 키트를 집으로 배송받고, 작가가 친절하게 그림을 즐길 수 있는 방법과 팁을 전수하는 영상 강의를 통해 비대면 형식으로 집에서 그림 수업을 듣고 직접 그려 보는 과정을 경험했으며, 그 경험을 전시물로 내놓게 된다.
 
드로잉 수업의 이름이자 전시명인 ‘녹색광선'은 주일 베른의 동명 소설에서 모티브를 얻은 에릭 로메르의 영화 ‘녹색광선’에서 따왔다.

녹색 광선은 해넘이 직전 수평선과 맞닿은 태양이 잠시 녹색으로 물드는 희귀한 현상이다.

이것을 본 사람은 자신의 마음은 물론 상대방의 마음속 진실을 알 수 있다고 전설처럼 전해지는 현상이다.

특히, 정서진아트큐브가 해넘이로 유명한 정서진 광장에 자리하고 있는 만큼, 정서진의 해넘이를 감상하며 자신만의 녹색광선을 찾아보고 마음속에 떠오르는 진실들을 드로잉해보는 이번 프로젝트는 드로잉 수업에 참여한 시민들은 물론이고 전시를 감상하러 온 시민들에게도 큰 즐거움을 선사할 것이다.
 
그림책 작가 하영은 서구에 거주하며 서구지역에서 활동하는 지역작가로 <산책의 순간들>, <걷는 마음> 등 산책하며 본 아름다운 풍경을 담은 그림책을 출간했다.

현재 인천서구 가정동 서점안착에서는 하영작가의 드로잉클래스와 그림책 원화전 전시를 진행하고 있다.

하영작가는 이번 정서진아트큐브 기획전시3 <퍼블릭 드로잉 프로젝트 : 녹색광선 Le Rayon Vert>의 시민 참여 프로그램인 온라인 드로잉클래스를 진행했고 클래스를 통해 완성된 시민들의 작업물과 하영작가의 작품으로 시민과 함께하는 전시를 꾸려나갈 예정이다.
 
누구나 상시 참여할 수 있는 관람객 참여 프로그램 <녹색광선 바라보기>는 관람객이 자신의 마음을 들여다본 후 자신의 감정을 나타내는 색을 고르고 정서진 풍경이 라인드로잉 된 워크시트에 채색하여 표현해 봄으로써 자신의 내면을 들여다보는 시간을 가질 수 있다.

<퍼블릭 드로잉 프로젝트 : 녹색광선 Le Rayon Vert>의 관람은 무료이며, 네이버 사전예약제를 통해 관람 인원을 시간당 5명으로 제한하여 안전하게 운영될 예정이다. 관람 문의는 인천서구문화재단으로 하면 된다.

The name of the drawing class and the name of the exhibition, “Green Glow,” was derived from Eric Romer’s movie “Green Glow,” which was motivated by Bern's novel of the same name.

Green rays are a rare phenomenon in which the sun that touches the horizon just before sunset turns green for a moment.

It is a phenomenon that is said to be legendary that a person who sees this can know the truth of the other person's heart as well as his own.

In particular, as Jeongseojin Art Cube is located in Jeongseojin Square, famous for its sunset, this project is an exhibition of not only citizens who participated in the drawing class, but also the citizens who participated in the drawing class, looking for their own green light, and drawing the truths that come to mind. Picture book writer Ha Young is a local artist who lives in the West and is active in the Western region, and has published picture books containing beautiful scenery seen while walking, such as <Moments of a Walk> and <The Heart of a Walk>.

Currently, at the bookstore in Gajeong-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon, a drawing class by Ha Young and an original picture book exhibition are in progress.

Artist Young Ha conducted an online drawing class, a citizen participation program for <Public Drawing Project: Green Light Le Rayon Vert>, in this special exhibition of Jeong Seojin Art Cube 3, and exhibited with the citizens through the works of the citizens and the works of artist Ha I am going to pack.
