(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천해양경찰서가 12일, 인천 옹진군 영흥도 진두항 방파제에 좌초된 낚시어선과 승선원 9명을 무사히 구조했다.

인천해경에 따르면, 12일 오전 6시 12분께 인천 옹진군 영흥도 진두항 방파제에 승선원 9명을 태운 낚시어선 A 호(3톤)가 출항 중 좌초됐는 신고를 접수하고 영흥파출소 구조팀과 인근 경비 구조 세력을 출동시켰다.

현장 확인 결과 낚시어선은 10도 정도 좌현 선미가 기울어져 테트라포드에 얹힌 상태였으며 인명피해는 발생하지 않았다.

인천해경은 A호 선장(남, 50대)을 제외한 승객 8명을 안전하게 구조하여 진두항에 하선 조치하고 연료밸브와 에어밴트를 봉쇄한 후 오전 08시 23분경 밀물 이용 이초해 진두항으로 입항 조치했다.

인천해경 관계자는 “운항 중 부주의로 낚시어선이 좌초되었으나 신속한 대응으로 인명피해 등 큰 사고로 이어지지 않아 다행이다”고 말했다.
