(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서해구가 8일, 구가 주최하고 인천서해구문화재단이 주관하는 ‘제30회 서곶 학생 피아노 콩쿠르’가 개최된다고 밝혔다. 

서해구에 따르면, 올해로 30회를 맞이한 서곶 학생 피아노 콩쿠르는 우수한 음악 인재를 발굴·육성하고 지역 문화예술 발전에 기여하기 위해 매년 개최되는 인천 대표 학생 피아노 경연대회이다. 

이번 콩쿠르는 인천시에 거주하거나 인천 소재 유치원 및 초·중·고등학교에 재학 중인 학생이라면 누구나 참가할 수 있다. 

경연은 유치부부터 고등부까지 연령별로 진행되며, 예선과 본선을 거쳐 대상을 비롯한 각 부문별 수상자를 선정한다. 

대상 수상자에게는 인천광역시장상이 수여되며, 최우수상·금상·은상·동상·장려상 등 부문별 시상이 함께 이뤄진다.

예선은 8월 8일, 본선은 8월 22일 서해구문화회관(구 서구문화회관)에서 개최될 예정이며, 참가 접수는 7월 6일부터 27일 오후 5시까지 서곶 학생 피아노 콩쿠르 홈페이지를 통해 온라인으로 진행된다.

Incheon Seohae-gu announced on the 8th that the ‘30th Seogot Student Piano Competition,’ hosted by the district and organized by the Incheon Seohae-gu Cultural Foundation, will be held.

According to Seohae-gu, the Seogot Student Piano Competition, marking its 30th anniversary this year, is Incheon’s representative student piano competition held annually to discover and nurture outstanding musical talent and contribute to the development of local culture and arts.

Any student residing in Incheon or currently enrolled in a kindergarten, elementary, middle, or high school located in Incheon is eligible to participate in this competition.

The competition will be held by age group, ranging from kindergarten to high school, and winners in each category, including the Grand Prize winner, will be selected through preliminary and final rounds.

The Grand Prize winner will be awarded the Incheon Metropolitan City Mayor's Award, and awards for individual categories, including Top Excellence, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Encouragement Awards, will also be presented.

The preliminary round is scheduled to be held on August 8 and the final round on August 22 at the Seohae-gu Cultural Center (formerly the Seo-gu Cultural Center). Registration for participation will take place online via the Seogot Student Piano Competition website from July 6 to July 27 at 5:00 PM.
