(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 8일부터 동 행정복지센터 통장을 대상으로 '반려동물 펫티켓 교육'을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 이번 교육은 지역 최일선에서 주민과 밀접하게 소통하는 통장들을 대상으로 성숙한 반려동물 문화를 확산하고, 반려인과 비반려인 간 갈등을 예방하기 위해 마련됐다.

교육은 8일 부평6동을 시작으로 오는 8월 6일까지 부개3동·부평4동·삼산1동·산곡2동 행정복지센터에서 총 5회 진행되며 회차별로 통장 35명이 참여한다.

교육에서는 반려동물과 함께 생활하는 데 필요한 기본 펫티켓과 안전관리 수칙을 다룬다. 

주요 내용은 산책 시 목줄 착용 및 인식표 부착,  배설물 즉시 수거,  공공장소 이용 예절, 반려인과 비반려인이 서로 배려하는 문화 등이다.

교육에 참여한 통장들은 이번 교육에서 배운 내용을 바탕으로 지역사회에서 올바른 반려동물 관리 문화 정착과 주민 인식 개선을 위해 앞장설 것으로 기대된다.

부평구 관계자는 "반려동물 양육 가구가 빠르게 늘어나는 만큼, 서로를 배려하는 성숙한 반려문화 조성이 더욱 중요해지고 있다"며 "이번 교육을 통해 올바른 펫티켓이 지역사회 전반으로 확산되고, 사람과 동물이 행복하게 공존하는 부평이 되기를 바란다"고 말했다.

Bupyeong-gu announced that it will conduct 'Pet Etiquette Education' for Tongjangs at Dong Administrative Welfare Centers starting on the 8th.

According to Bupyeong-gu, this education program was organized to spread a mature pet culture and prevent conflicts between pet owners and non-pet owners, targeting Tongjangs who communicate closely with residents at the forefront of the community.

Starting with Bupyeong 6-dong on the 8th, the education will be held a total of five times until August 6th at the Administrative Welfare Centers of Bugae 3-dong, Bupyeong 4-dong, Samsan 1-dong, and Sangok 2-dong, with 35 Tongjangs participating in each session.
