(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천대학교 평생교육원이 오는 8월 10일부터 8월 21일까지 인천의 역사와 문화, 그리고 예술을 통해 시민들의 삶을 풍요롭게 하는 ‘2026 인천시민대학 시민라이프칼리지 인천대캠퍼스 2학기 교육과정’ 수강생을 모집한다고 밝혔다. 

평생교육원에 따르면, 이번 교육과정은 세계시민으로서의 인천시민들의 인문적 역량을 높이고 지역문화에 대한 이해를 확장할 수 있도록 기획했으며,  가장 눈에 띄는 특징은 ‘문화예술’과정이다. 

문화예술을 단순한 취미 활동이 아닌 시민의 삶과 사회를 연결하는 매개로 바라보며, 교육연극과 예술 체험 중심의 강좌를 확대했다. 

‘소설 너머 무대로 ‘시니어 연극 만들기 (박수정·백승윤)’, ‘이야기 주머니 속에 퐁당! : 그림책을 활용한 연극(아동들과 함께하는 연극 만들기(이예진·최채은)’, ‘사랑하는 사람에게 전하는 이야기 : AI 그림책 만들기 (김경민·김채린)’를 비롯해 성악앙상블 (김진우) , ‘몸의 감각을 깨우는 움직임 - 현대무용 기반」(김하린)’, ‘액션페인팅 따라하기-그림! 애쓰지말고 애풀어요(김형기)’, ‘액션페인팅 따라하기-숨은(내면) 그림(형상) 찾기 (김형기)’,‘알고 보면 재미있는 클래식 이야기(조화현)’ 등 시민들이 다양한 방식으로 예술을 경험할 수 있는 프로그램으로 구성했다.

‘K-컬처’과정은 시민들의 다양한 관심사를 반영하여 운영된다. 

‘K-성인 스포츠 사격(권나라, 장동수)’, ‘영화로 보는 세상Ⅱ (권칠인)’, ‘탈춤으로 보는 세계 (차은선)’, ‘만화로 보는 세계Ⅱ(서은영)’, ‘음악으로 보는 세상Ⅱ(신종길)’ 등 K-컬처 각 분야 전문가들이 참여해 쉽고 흥미롭게 풀어낼 예정이다.

‘인천-도시, 역사, 인간의 삶(정진오·김명래·박경호)’을 다루는 ‘인천학’은 문학작품에 드러난 인천의 역사와 도시 형성 과정을 탐색한다.

또한, 전문성과 심화 교육을 강화하기 위해 ‘미술과 전시 큐레이팅’을 중심으로 석사·박사과정을 운영한다. 

1학기에는 박사과정만 운영했으나, 2학기에는 석사과정도 신규 개설한다. 

각 과정 모두 현장 실천 활동 및 전시 탐구를 병행하여, 보다 심화된 미술 전시 기획과 큐레이팅 교육을 제공할 계획이다.

인천대학교 한상정 평생교육원장은 “이번 2학기 교육과정은 문화예술과 K-컬처를 중심으로 시민들이 지역에 더 호기심을 갖게 되기를, 그리고 자신을 표현하고 자신을 둘러싼 세계를 좀 더 풍요롭게 이해하게 되기를 바라며 기획했다”며 “인천시민 누구나 양질의 평생학습 기회를 누릴 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

(재)인천인재평생교육진흥원이 위탁하고 인천대학교 평생교육원이 기획·운영하는 이 과정은 인천시민 및 인천 생활권자를 대상으로 운영한다. 

수강료와 재료비는 전액 무료이며, 수강신청은 8월 10일부터 8월 21일까지 진행된다.

Viewing culture and arts not merely as a hobby but as a medium connecting citizens' lives and society, the center has expanded courses centered on educational theater and art experiences. ‘Beyond the Novel to the Stage: Making Senior Theater (Park Su-jeong & Baek Seung-yun)’, ‘Dive into the Story Pocket!’ The program is composed of activities that allow citizens to experience art in various ways, including plays utilizing picture books ("Creating Theater with Children" (Lee Ye-jin & Choi Chae-eun)" and "Stories for Loved Ones: Creating AI Picture Books" (Kim Kyung-min & Kim Chae-rin), as well as a vocal ensemble (Kim Jin-woo), "Movements to Awaken the Senses of the Body - Based on Contemporary Dance" (Kim Ha-rin), "Following Action Painting - Painting!
