(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 영종구가 2일, 손화정 영종구청장이 지난 1일 영종경찰서 개청식에 참석해 “영종구청과 영종경찰서가 긴밀히 소통하고 협력하며 ‘안전한 영종’이라는 공동의 목표를 향해 하나의 든든한 ‘원팀’으로 나아가길 기대한다”고 말했다.

영종구에 따르면, 손화정 구청장은 이날 축사를 통해 “14만 구민의 오랜 염원인 영종경찰서가 역사적인 개서를 맞게 됐다”며 “새로운 영종 시대를 열어가는 시점에 구민 안전을 더욱 든든하게 지켜줄 기반이 마련돼 무척 뜻깊다”고 밝혔다.
