(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천부평경찰서가 2일, 최근 부평구태권도협회와 민‧경 합동 ‘학교안전순찰대’ 발대식을 개최하고 시범운영 기간인 여름방학까지 본격적인 가시적 순찰 활동에 돌입했다고 밝혔다.

부평서에 따르면, 아동‧청소년 상대 범죄를 선제적으로 예방하기 위해 기획된 이번 치안활동은, 지난 5월 19일부터 약 22일간 동암지구대 관내 다양한 지역주민들의 의견을 종합하고 주민들의 압도적인 ‘순찰 강화’ 요청을 반영하여 부평구태권도협회와 긴밀한 협의 끝에 동암지구대 관내 8개 도장 관장단 간담회를 거쳐 구체적인 민‧경 합동 순찰 방안을 도출했다.

민경 합동 순찰은 부평동암지구대 관내 초등학교 5개소 및 중학교 2개소 주변 주요 통학로와 사각지대인 이면도로를 대상으로 8개소의 태권도장 통학버스차량에 ‘안전한 등‧하굣길은 우리가 지킵니다’는 현수막을 부착하여 가시적 효과를 극대화한다.
