(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 오는 15일까지 주민이 직접 지역에 필요한 사업을 제안하고 예산 편성 과정에 참여함으로 지방재정 운영의 투명성과 공정성을 높이고, 주민 수요에 맞는 정책을 발굴하기 위한 ‘2026년 주민참여예산 제안사업 공모를 실시한다고 밝혔다.  

서구에 따르면, 2027년 예산 편성을 위한 이번 공모는 주민이 직접 지역에 필요한 사업을 제안하고 예산 편성 과정에 참여함으로 지방재정 운영의 투명성과 공정성을 높이고, 주민 수요에 맞는 정책을 발굴하기 위해 추진된다. 

제안사업은 지역문제 해결과 주민편익 증진을 위한 사업으로 서구 주민이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있다. 

제안방법은 인천시 서구 주민참여예산 홈페이지에서 가능하며, 서구청 예산법무과 또는 동 행정복지센터 방문, 우편(서구 서곶로 307) 및 팩스 접수도 가능하다. 

접수된 사업은 관계 부서 검토와 보완 과정을 거친 후, 주민참여예산위원회 분과 심의, 주민투표, 민관협의회 최종 심의를 통해 2027년도 예산 반영 여부가 결정된다. 

집중 공모기간 이후에도 연중 상시 제안이 가능하며, 이후 접수된 사업은 차년도 예산 편성 시 검토될 예정이다.
